(Ajinomoto), a Japanese leading company, to strengthen both companies business presence on 1 October 2012 in Jakarta, Indonesia.
The two companies shall work on a new JV company PT Lautan Ajinomoto Fine Ingredients
, or other name approved by Government, located at Kawasan Industri Green Land Batavia Blok BD No. 1, Kota Deltamas, Sukamahi, Central Cikarang, Bekasi. The new company manufactures amino acids as raw materials, derived specialty products for cosmetic ingredients.
The new company is established in 2012, with plans to begin manufacturing cosmetic ingredients for personal care products in the second half of 2013. The total of initial and future investment is slated for USD 6,000,000.
The authorized capital shall initially consist of USD 3,000,000. The two parties shall subscribe shares as follows:

Pabrik LTLS di Mojokerto Beroperasi
Jakarta, 12 Juli 2012 - PT LAUTAN LUAS Tbk ("LTLS") makin ekspansif di bisnis food ingredient (bahan baku makanan). Setelah membangun sejak 2010, pabrik non-dairy creamer yang berlokasi di Mojokerto, Jawa Timur itu akhirnya beroperasi. Sebanyak 70 persen produk bahan baku pengganti susu tersebut diproyeksikan dilempar ke pasar internasional, sedangkan sisanya 30 persen untuk memenuhi kebutuhan dalam negeri.
Executive Manager and Business Project Manager LTLS Ridwan Adipoetra mengatakan, pabrik yang memerlukan investasi USD 25 juta itu diharapkan mendongkrak revenue korporasi. Dia memproyeksi, jika utilisasi mencapai 100 persen, produk non-dairy creamer bisa mencapai 21.600 metrik ton per tahun. "Juli ini sudah mulai commissioning atau trial. Berikutnya pada Agustus-September, pabrik baru ini mulai menjual produk secara komersial," jelasnya kepada Jawa Pos kemarin (11/7).
Menurut Ridwan, produk non-dairy creamer yang diproduksi di bawah kendali PT Lautan Natural Krimerindo tersebut nanti lebih banyak diekspor. "Pasar kami yang utama memang domestik. Tetapi, ada beberapa produk yang targetnya langsung ekspor. Karena posisinya
menggantikan susu, kami optimistis pangsa pasarnya banyak," terangnya.
Saat ini LTLS juga tengah menggenjot performa industri manufaktur. Tahun lalu kontribusi bisnis manufaktur, distribusi, serta pendukung, dan jasa masing-masing 18 persen, 74 persen, dan 8 persen, terhadap total pendapatan perseroan Rp 5,52 triliun. Pada 2015, perusahaan menargetkan kontribusi berubah menjadi 29 persen, 58 persen, dan 13 persen, dari target total revenue Rp 12 triliun.
Untuk memperkuat industri manufaktur, Lautan Luas bakal merampungkan perluasan pabrik kimia sodium metabisulphite. Perluasan pabrik tersebut akan menghasilkan tambahan kapasitas 30 ribu metrik ton per tahun. Saat ini produksi sodium metabisulphite Lautan Luas 6 ribu metrik ton per tahun (Jawa Pos).

Jakarta, 26 May 2008 – PT LAUTAN LUAS Tbk ("LTLS") is pleased to announce that its shares will resume trading as of the first session today, Monday, 26 May 2008, after a three-day suspension imposed by the IDX that began on Wednesday, 21 May 2008. According to the IDX, the suspension was necessary since the LTLS accumulative share price grew by Rp 880 or about 205% in less than one month, from Rp 430 on 29 April 2008 to Rp 1,310 on 19 May 2008.

Lautan Luas To Issue Bonds of Rp 600 Billion
Jakarta, 28 January 2008 – PT LAUTAN LUAS Tbk, a distribution and manufacturing company of basic and specialty chemicals, held a due diligence meeting and public expose today to announce its plan to issue its Lautan Luas Bond III/2008 amounting to up to Rp 600 billion. The Bonds are scheduled to be issued in March 2008.
“The Bond has received a credit rating of id A- (Stable Outlook) from PT Pemeringkat Efek Indonesia (Pefindo)”, said Indrawan Masrin, President Director of PT LAUTAN LUAS Tbk, during the press conference held following the public expose in Jakarta.
The Bond will have a (5) five-year tenor. Interest on the Bond will be paid out quarterly.
92% of the bond proceeds will be used to strengthen the Company’s working capital while the remaining 8% will be used to partially repay the Lautan Luas Bond II/2003, which matures in June 2008.
The Bond’s bookbuilding period will be from 28 January – 11 February 2008. The indicative underwriting timetable is provided as follows: The expected Effective date on 29 February 2008 and listing on the Indonesian Stock Exchange is expected to take place on 12 March 2008.
PT DBS Vickers Securities Indonesia and PT Mandiri Sekuritas have been appointed as Joint Lead Underwriters, while PT Bank Mega Tbk will be serving as the Bond’s trustee.
As of 30 September 2007, revenues from sales, commissions, and services amounted to Rp 2.08 trillion contributed by Lautan Luas’ three business segments: distribution, manufacturing, and support & services. The Company’s operating profit amounted to Rp 123.652 billion and net profit amounted to Rp 51.096 billion. Total assets amounted to Rp 2.177 trillion, total liabilities amounted to Rp 1.523 trillion, and total equity amounted to Rp 552.162 billion.
