Ridwan Adipoetra, Head of Government Relations and Assets Management of PT Lautan Luas Tbk said “PT Lautan Luas Tbk carries out various corporate social responsibility activities through our 4 pillars of social activities, namely community empowerment, education, livelihood development and others. The COVID-19 pandemic has an impact on all sectors of social life, both the health sector and the economic sector. Communities need to prepare themselves for the impacts that occur, especially so that economic needs can still be met”.

Susanto, National Director of Habitat for Humanity Indonesia added “Habitat as a humanitarian organization that continues to realize the mission of fighting for a decent life for everyone continues to do various things to help low-income families in Indonesia in need. During the pandemic, many of them lost their jobs while they were asked to stay at home. Habitat is grateful for this entrepreneurship training as a new innovation to help affected families so that even though they are at home they can still have jobs and can survive in difficult times. Online food and beverage entrepreneurship training is one of the right steps because food is needed every day and online is very effective with the condition that people who are still encouraged at home tend to buy food online. Habitat is delighted to be working with Lautan Luas and Fiber Crème. Hopefully, through this training, the families who are assisted will continue to innovate with new skills received and develop towards a better life in the future.”

In the winner announcement session, FiberCreme Brand Ambassadors, Dian Sastrowardoyo and William Wongso were present to motivate the participants. “There is a greater impact for social, community empowerment, and innovation is a must. So it is important to have more benefits than just a business,” said Dian Sastrowardoyo. William Wongso also gave a message to the participants, “In the culinary business what needs to be considered is cleanliness, good selection of ingredients, perseverance, and consistency in doing so. Always innovating is also important to develop quality.”

It is hoped that this Entrepreneurship Training event will not only help the community to survive during the pandemic, but this training will become a provision for them to struggle independently and fulfill their life needs as entrepreneurs who can support family welfare.
